Sorry, doctor said I can't eat anymore or he'll have me committed (apparently yes that is a thing for super-morbid obesity). He says I have to get down to 400 first.

What's the matter, Meta? Like to talk big and mock people's families, but when it comes to real life, a kind offer to meet scares you, or what? I mean it. No hostility. My treat.

Why would anyone meet you after you wrote something like this?

Not to mention he's psychiatrically unstable and has made hundreds of posts about all the guns he has.

I do not own an AR-15. I own a Tavor bullpup. I am also not anti-gun. I am against the US style of firearms and ownership. I would give them up tomorrow if the country decided it was for the best. I use it for sport only (target practice).

No. As long as it is legal to own guns, I will for sport. If it becomes illegal, I will gladly hand them over for a safer society. Now, where are we meeting Saturday?

I am theoretically against such easy gun ownership. As long as it is legal, I will use them for sport/hobby, but they are not that important to me. I would rather we not have them overall.

"Assault" means fully-automatic. There is literally no difference between a semi and a hunting rifle except the way it looks and that it is made of plastic or metal instead of wood (the stock). Same caliber, same rounds, same force, etc. It's a false name "assault rifle". It just makes it sound scary.

No, because it is literally no different from a hunting rifle. They are literally equal in every way except the way they look.

No, but it is quite easy to stick a magazine in a hunting rifle. Magazines are not a part of the rifle. They are separate things that you "plug" into the rifle. You can have low or high capacity as you wish. The only exception is single-shot, bolt-action guns. Those can only fire one round at a time.

Cool how do I take my Remington 700 and add a higher capacity magazine? It's not part of the gun so it should be pretty easy to stick a 30 round or maybe even a drum mag, right?
I won't need to modify the rifle in any way to do this will I?

Yes. You are comparing rifles, as I understand it. The main difference between all rifles is how they work and how they look. All rifles can easily kill people.

Competition rifles are not. Others are designed for killing humans and animals. All of them. And there is no “specifically designed to kill people.” Again, the only difference is how they look, not how they function. Now, where will we meet on Saturday?

Your risk of being shot to death is doubled by owning a gun. You don't want a safer country, if you actually wanted that you would start in your own home.

That is if you use it for anything. I keep mine unloaded, separate from the ammo, and locked up. I only use it on the range as a sport/hobby.
