Nice! How long would it be? Where would you go?

Imagine wanting to work for a company that doesn't pay the benefits and pension their employees are due

Oh shit I forgot about this thread. Didn't realize I'd been thinking about this for so long. Any canadafriends have suggestions about things to see? I'm especially interested in parks and nature.

Tentatively thinking about a month and a half, but I'll do it without a set in stone itinerary. I'm thinking I'll let some of the major cities guide my general path. First I'll head north to Toronto, then zigzag my west through Winnipeg, Calgary, and Edmonton, stopping at interesting places along the way. From there I'm thinking I'll head to Fairbanks, where they offer tours that take you all the way up to the Arctic Circle; I want to touch the Arctic Ocean! Then I'll head to Vancouver, then work my way down the west coast toward the southwest, where I'm gonna try to plant myself for a few months and maybe stay long term if I really like it.

I'm hoping to be in a good enough spot financially to do it late this summer.

Don't go to Canada. Everything worth seeing there is like 20 miles from the border. Which in itself ought to be enough to point you in the right direction.

Absolutely! So far my planning for that portion of the trip hasn't expanded much past finding a way to get to the Arctic Ocean.

It's just as much about the adventure as it is about things to see.

Well that wouldn't be much of a road trip, would it?

Do you consider an ocean to be part of the road?
