For an extra 50p you get double chips, obviously

Entré vs side order

from a design standpoint this makes sense but i would definitely order chips with chips instead of double chips just to be petty/accurate and I'm sure enough people would as well until it got annoying and they changed their menu to a normal one that has the item and then a single "add chips £2"
but then you notice that per dish the price for chips changes and it's like what gives? shouldn't the difference in cost be the food and not the chips. whatever. is anybody really ordering cheese with no chips? the menu is bad

I am not sure any of you autists understand the problem. According to the menu, you can order chips without chips. What do you get, an empty plate?

chips without chips is the standard chips
> you don't need to order chips without chips you can just ask for chips because chips is the standard chips
Chips with chips will have a slightly more complex words needed that the standard chips, which you only need to say "chips" for them to easily understand
