I looked it up and the $1600 model you're salivating over can only do 9kmh max (in a lab setting). And that 8,000 mAh battery? Way too small.
But you can't even afford ghost hunting equipment, so keep dreaming

tape some laptop batteries to it, there are controllers that can handle multiple batteries easily.
You don't buy everything from the manufacturer marked up.
The LIDAR, limbs, and software to learn new tricks is what you're paying unitree for. Expand the machine yourself at home, and there's a lot of affordable possibilities.

First you claim this robot will have a meaningful impact in global conflicts then when presented with evidence that's it's trash and a handheld radio powered by a AA battery can take it down... you backpedal and try to make it about a nerd pranking you on a jog.

Nobody has removed the kill switch yet. It's built into the power board. Do you have a PCB manufacturer in your garage? Didn't think so. This sort of thing will always an arms race, but guess what... I'd survive an EMP, the dog wouldn't.
