At non-white people funerals, people weep, wail, cry out in grief, women throw themselves into the grave, etc. At white people funerals, the goal is to ideally show no emotion at all, and to be ashamed if you do. Why is this?

I mean, how can I prove a negative? I've literally seen everything but someone diving into a grave because I've never been at a casket lowering you nonce, I've just gone to the first part of the funeral. The only time I saw the casket go down was when I was two and I'm pretty sure my mother was wailing with grief as her husband was lowered into the ground and there was even a 21 gun salute or whatever it's called.
