I use Ableton Live 8. The instruments I use most inside Ableton is Drum Rack and Analog, which are native to the software.
I also have a Novation Supernova II Keyboard I love to play but haven't integrated into my workflow yet. I just got it, and I probably will ultimately want to get a real audio interface rather than connect it to my mixer and then my mixer to the input of my computer.

I have indeed been using LSDJ as my go to tracker since 2007 for Game Boy music.

I'd love to have a LSDJ style tracker for NES that can run on real hardware. Plop a little LCD screen on top of the console and I have a second music workstation.
