Topic: These plant-based tacos I made are pretty good.

I think I managed to add enough umami flavor to make it resemble meat from the disgusting default brand.

I started with Beyond “Ground Beef” and cooked it on the stove with some dice onions for added flavor. Added umami flavors from Worchester and Soy sauce. Add an absolute must with some Liquid Smoke, don’t over do it or else it leaves a burning sensation in your mouth. Then add some hickory BBQ rub, I got mine at a local farmer’s market.

It Disney one hundred percent taste like meat but when you combine it with a warm tortilla, diced onions, cilantro, and an added ingredient of mine, Mexican cheese (think Elote). This creates an awesome blend of flavor that is entirely plant-based. If you need a hot sauce, simple Tabasco is just fine. It adds a little touch despite its three ingredients of red peppers, distilled vinegar, and salt.

There you have it. Awesome plant-based street tacos that is good for the environment and authentically halal.

As authentic as a gumbo with no roux and corn.

It’s just the Mexican cheese that comes on the Mexican street corn. And this likely isn’t vegan. Or maybe it is. I don’t know. I’m not sure what veganism is anymore.

Clearly not vegan, as it has at least two ingredients with animal parts.

What is the two animal parts?

Worcestershire sauce and cheese are both made from animal products. "Parts" was probably a bad term to choose?

That doesn’t count as meat. In the culinary sense, they are fish.

Well, no shit, but then again… there’s discord within the vegan community. So, who gives a fuck?
