Does anyone here have lactose intolerance? I'm eliminating milk and dairy for a few days to check and I feel better already. My stomach seems fine. It seems that whenever I have a lot of milk, I desperately need to use the loo, get blaoted, acid reflux, sweat a lot and I can hear my heart in my head. When I don't have a lot of dairy I'm fine. Is this normal?

I started about 5 years ago. The foods that bother me the most is cheese, especially soft american or processed shit like cheese whiz, real butter, whip cream and of course milk. Now a drink of milk or a bite of this stuff won't cause issues but if I were to eat a grilled cheese sandwich and drink a glass of milk about 6-8 hours later I will bloat, have gas pains, cramps and then shit a stream of runny mucus looking crap that floats on the water. It will last for a few hours until I get rid of it all then I go back to normal. It sucks and there is an OTC drug you can get to help. I just don't eat or drink that stuff anymore.

Can't find a private test. Will have to eliminate all lactose for 2 weeks. With my wordle bro by my side, I can do it. I should go and get some oat, rice and soy milk!

Well, my stomach feels better and I'm not getting the problems I usually get. This is only day one though. Got 2 weeks left at least, but it looks more probable I have lactose intolerance. Fuck. May as well go vegan 😡

I'm only halfway there. I want some chocolate bad. I got some cheese rice crackers today because I temporarily forgot cheese contains lactose. Some issues have cleared up but not completely so it may be that I'm only slightly lactose intolerant (lacking some lactase enzymes). I'll probably be able to have small amounts of dairy but I'll start having the plant milk more often.
