The perfect car for rich white people to drive to their suburban McMansion, subsidized by the city. Luckily it is a convenient 5 minute drive from McDonald's and 25 minutes to Walmart.

Out of all the automakers who have received subsidies in the US, Tesla has received the least. If this is a real concern of yours, and you want to own the least subsidized car, driving a tesla should be your first choice.

Over 5 years and 60,000mi, the total cost of ownership for a Tesla Model 3 is approximately the same as a Toyota Camry.

Tesla isn't just an automotive company, so if you want to break down which of those subsidies were for the automotive side that would be great. And bringing up other companies Elon works for doesn't make any sense at all.

Go through all my references, then we'll talk.

Also, new rule, if you're rich, white and own a Tesla, you have a conflict of interest and need to declare it. This doubly applies to rich white women who married into wealth. Check your privilege at the door.
