I love the independent movie Speak, based on the excellent novel of the same name. You can read the synopsis here.

My favorite "quote" from it wasn't actually a spoken line; near the end, when she finally tells her ex-best-friend what happened; they share a moment of silence as she struggles saying it, then finally just picks up a pencil and writes it down in front of her. It was a short, but very powerful moment, that basically defines the entire movie in about fifteen seconds. I'm not explaining it well, but I really do recommend checking the movie out.
