Topic: a plan to fix everything, and make it all better.

publish to github, have a main branch, and a development branch. a road map for merging images to the main brand. why not? maybe there are other fixes and more stuff could be improved. it's not like this is software that anyone else can be made responsible for it's a community enterprise it belongs to us. not the software, but the support of it. it's ours to lose.
i can't do much, but, i can do something. a clock, lol. and, frankly, we got ai. it can't do everything, but, it can practically.
just a thought. a project would be good for us. something to do other than snipe at each other.
and, as a feature i'd think would be a good addition, let every OP have mod over their own thread. no extra tools for unmasking or site wide consequences. same features youtube have for content creators comments sections. thats what we need here. you want to see shit posts then make it easy to throw shit around. you want to see content, we can do content. ive seen it get shit all over.
there's nothing wrong with one person locking another, no one is entitled to be heard. speak yes, be heard, no. listened to, no, answered to, NO. but speak your thread, yes. and let engagement decide the value. if it's welcome.
this board is 13 years behind how every modern platform works and works and works, all, day long. disfunction follows a poorly motivated design. it worked while it needed to, and now it needs to work better. bet.

Yo, listen up. If you come across a book that's full of racist bullshit, don't just brush it off like it ain't no thang. We gotta admit that racism is still out there, even in the books we read.
Ignoring it won't make it disappear, it just keeps the same messed up stuff going on in our society. We gotta call it out and make a stand against it. So, if you read a book with racist crap in it, don't overlook it - that's letting the racists win. We gotta confront it head-on so we can make the world a better place for everyone. Ain't nobody gonna do it for us. So, remember, if it's racist, it's on us to challenge it and make it right.

like, it's weird the kinds of things that you assume people would consider to be mocking ridicule. and that what you consider respectable is just as questionable. if you'd just, like, always do and say the opposite of what your instincts tell you, you'd be a really awesome, wonderful person that people respect so easily. but, also, you would die of embarrassment. that's gotta be a tough way to live. i find it impossible to resolve. all i can do is believe you, that this is how you prefer to go through life.
so, okay.

i think you were talking about a goblin or something, and it went something like,"he was dark, with a black face, the blackest black you've ever seen." and were going on about that and the hoodoo or something, i don't really remember which book it was, but i was like, half rolling my eyes half slightly amused chuckle. i thought, oh, geeze, that's thinly veiled, but, i'm sure that's veiled enough to get away with saying is just based on some description of goblins in an almanac from 1840 or something.
personally, i would think that would go over poorly if it was submitted to publishers, but idk if you were shopping your series before self publishing or not, and you can certainly get away with a lot more freedoms if you aren't trying to write for publishers. idk how anyone gets publishers to pick them up unless you're cormac mccarthy corny, or j.k.rowling and rewriting starwars clones.
just write a cross between no country for old men and empire strikes back but with your punk rock vampires and you'll be published for sure.
