I lived in Texas for 4 years. When I was only 10 years old I got into arguments with full-grown adults who didn't believe that gravity on earth was 9.81m/s. These were ADULTS in Texas who thought that heavier objects automatically fell faster. I lived next door to a fucking astronaut who wouldn't even back me up on this because he didn't want to make his son look stupid. If those are the adults, imagine trying to deal with their kids in the public school system. There were teachers who thought that the speed of sound and speed of light were the same thing. There are a group of people in Texas who want the schools to change pi to 3 to make math easier. I spent every year in their school system studying Texas history. They're self-important morons.
