Wave Dave, the surfer dude, always looking for the perfect wave.
Shave Dave, always well-groomed and debonair.
Slave Dave, to his job he was always a faithful knave.
Knave Dave, never to be trusted, always looking for a way to misbehave.
Save Dave, always the hero, willing to lend a helping hand.
Cave-in Dave, the one who caused chaos and destruction wherever he'd land.
Behave Dave, always well-mannered, never out of hand.

There once was a man named Dave,
Who denied his own name with a wave,
When asked if he was Dave,
He replied with a pout and a grave,
“No, no, it’s not me,
That’s not my name, can’t you see?”
But all the while we knew the truth,
That Dave was just being uncouth.
Said Dave, "I'm not who you see,
I'm just a regular old me."
But his friends would all say with glee,
"Oh Dave, don't be silly, it's we!"
Despite their insistence on his name,
Dave still played his denial game.
But in the end, it was all the same,
For we all knew that Dave was his name.
Dave's not here.
