The findings of the Louisiana Department of Health when looking at their medicaid data and summarizing research were extensive. Importantly, they found that zero surgeries were ever done on minors in the state, puberty blockers were exceedingly rare, regret rates were extremely low, and trans youth had positive mental health outcomes. They also compared consent to transgender care to many other forms of care where medical consent on the behalf of youth is allowed.

If no surgeries were ever done on minors, why get so upset about banning it? 🤔

I mean it would be like Louisiana restricting unicorn ownership, or banning faster than light travel.

It seems like you're getting upset by it, since you always comment on the subject every time it comes up. 🤔

There's like 8 regular users on this forum. Everyone is always commenting on everything.

Weird - no teacher, no doctor, no psychiatrist, no one who knows me IRL, no co-worker, etc has picked up on my "living in constant paranoid fear". Are you sure this is a real thing?

Except you. You only comment on stuff like this.

More than likely "gender affirming care" was what was being banned. But go on, compare it to banning unicorns and light speed enforcement

Let's say Greg Abbott wakes up tomorrow and bans division by zero in the State of Texas. I might think it's stupid, maybe I'd even laugh at him for being a dumb redneck who didn't learn none of that fancy book learnin'.

But upset? Hardly! 😂

I mean it's not like you can even do it if you wanted to! The same thing too: let's say Gavin Newsom decides to "own the rethuglicans" and amends the California constitution to protect Californian's sacred right to divide things by zero. Again, I would hardly be upset. Because it's fucking impossible to do anyway.

You literally can. There's an entire branch of mathematics based on doing it.

Let's say that had anything to do with what happened, then what?

Both gender ideology and complex analysis are reserved for ivory tower shitheads because neither is rooted in reality.

You could even say it's square rooted in reality.

Yes, academics are squares.
