But you're not right. It's just a small thing that bothers me. I prefer using 'disorder' when referring to a disorder because 'disease', in my head, has connotations of sickness/contagion.

The definition of disease used here seems overly broad. If you define "disease" as any condition that impairs normal function, then a broken leg or a stray eyelash that impairs your vision could be considered a disease. Also, disease is commonly used to refer to infectious diseases, so using "disease" rather than "disorder" opens the door for confusion. While using it in this context is correct, I don't think Anon C is being completely unreasonable in his dissatisfaction with the term.

Yes, I was working from the definition provided here in your citation. As I said, the usage is correct, but I see where Anon C would be dissatisfied with its overly broad nature. You would be technically correct in referring to your roommate as "some organism I found in my house", but that terminology leaves a lot of room for interpretation where clear, succinct meaning would often be preferable.
