yeah, i can tell you that a lot of people collect watches and clocks and they absolutely obsess over them, and there's nothing wrong with that, they have a fascinating history, and some of the most well known names in the world are associated with clocks. the modern world exists in part because of the innovations in time keeping that are represented in a wrist watch. i'm not surprised when someone says they're interest is in timepieces. they are just awesome looking, and there's not much in the way of furnishings, or jewelry or utility that cross all demographics quite like them. everyone plays with their phone setting and picks out the clock that they like on their phone, even if it's just the default, everyone checks.
