I love how Cooper immediately tried to play damage control and go to commercial.
If we accept this "amoral capitalism" idea that the media is nonpartisan and just wants views, then he would have kept her talking so he could get a shocking viral video and get more eyes on his show.
If we accept the idea of the media as dedicated journalists trying to get to the truth, he'd want to examine this fully and get a good idea of her character and help viewers understand whether she was honest or not, regardless of who that benefited.
Yet he does neither, because Cooper is on the democRATs PR team. Losing a spicy interview, and covering up the truth doesn't matter. Crafting a weapon against political opponents is the point.

lol, wtf. if he wasn't prepared to hear answers like that it's his own fault. i agree, the cable news media is the most partisan thing next to political parties, they are absolutely nothing more than mouthpieces for democrats and fox is a republican bullhorn too. i can't actually think of any news aggregator that isn't politicised, you can still at least -generally- get facts based reporting without the packaging and content distribution from sources like AP, as far as i know, i'm sure someone will say all sources of news are slanted, but who, what, when, where, without the WHY kinds of print journalism still exist, but once it gets picked up and reported on it's nothing but why, and what we're supposed to think who, what, when and where something happened.
i haven't been following the Donkey Konging of trump, but just based on this 37 seconds i'm convinced that the Donkey Konging is real. they're never going to leave him alone, and i'm fine with that, he's trash, but i'm also fine with cnn looking like dipshits.
