The first amendment doesn't apply to threats of violence.
Disarming working class and minority populations is the first step in a genocide, and advocating for that is a clear violation of the prohibition on threats of violence.
Making this appeal to the courts, or appealing to your representative to make the law explicit, would both be routes for making it illegal to complain about gun rights.

Nah, that's never worked. We have to make it illegal to complain about mass shootings or suggest that firearms are responsible for any kind of violent death.
