I paid off my student loan debt at the end of last year. For the first time in my adult life I have no debt. I'm not poor but I'm not wealthy either. I'm just about average I think.

Yeah sadly private with variable interest rate (it jumped to 7.5% from like 3% in 2020 lol). I just took out whatever loans my parents picked for me because I was a dumb 18 year old! Not making that mistake with my kids when I have them.

you're right, i'm sorry. i actually kinda just always thought that was a meme. actually i think you're one of the better people around here. you put up with more than most. i really wasn't intending on coming across as badly as i did, i'll knock it off. i'm actually as bad a catholic as you can get. An excommunicated apostate, and a heretic. like, officially. and it's extremely difficult to actually be anything other than an apostate. it's not like they give out paperwork or anything, but even being told you're excommunicated is incredibly rare, actually. but a heretic, i was told this by a bishop, too. you almost have to punch the pope to be the kind of excommunicated that i am.
they keep records for thousands of years. catholics are crazy. they still say i'm supposed to give them 10% of my income for life though. i literally won't be allowed to take part in funerals for any family members. i can go to my own. this is what i was told. yup.
