The reporter ask them what they think the greatest invention of humanity is. The first one says, "Antibiotics for sure. They've saved countless lives." The second says, "The discovery of electricity. Imagine life without it!" The third says, "The thermos." Stunned, the reported asks, "Why the thermos? All it does is keep hot things hot, and cold things cold." The black man says, "Yeah, but how do it know?"
