time is lost to entropy. that's what i think anyway. time is the quantum of action. the universe is a kind of computer. when i look out into the universe, all around me is a bubble. my personal horizon. propagating at the speed of light, for reflections off of and emissions from me that are massless bosons.
it's probably calculable, my sphere, and the shape wobbles and oscillates as i move, and it reaches out forever, you know? some bits at least. those bits that can stream away out into the cosmos, falling through geodesics connected to the edge of the horizon of the universe. some bits may make it there. eventually. or redshift into another kind of horizon as it fades. or streams into a black hole. or become entangled with the moon. or, like now, my quanta warm my seat, and tap keys and flow around me in the air. interacting.
and those will come to equilibrium with the world around me. my past information. becomes part of the world. we're all just quantum of action. innumerable bits. calculated into our world. quantum information. time dependent of course. merging with the fine structure of the universe. bits. calculated. my future is distributed bits of action all around me, and one day those bits will find their way to me, and through me, and one day i'll be gone, and my past self will be the universe in action.
Fundamental quantum of action that undergoes amazing transformation, into anything. anything my sphere can touch. and flow into. and like the energy and light that maybe hit the horizon billions of years from now, entropy will have decomposed everything it can, and the horizons are all around us. everything will one day, one day find it's edge, and touch the horizon. a topological surface. where it will stick. and the horizon -event horizons, the edge of action, that's the great calculator. where all things interior to it can be written and added to the one way anything can ever truly go.
space becomes inevitable as tomorrow. all motion there is towards a point there's no touching it, but everything is strictly ordered there. single file. complimentarity. written to the horizon, but also interior to it. both, but distant. falling infinitely towards a point. entangled, negatively entropic to the radiation carried away. calculable. but linked by unknown scrambling. it's a mirror that imparts all spin, angular momentum, it's 1 dimensional. the 4d universe, encoded onto a 2d horizon with 1d time. quantum of action needs time. it's just calculated change. the eigenvalues of hilbert spaces are unitary. the great symmetry in the universe is reflection. front to back reflection. inside mapped to outside flowing one way. a rotating stereographic projection. it's the hopf fibration. Penrose transforms in twister space
when you look out forever it looks almost the same as looking in forever. they are the same. reflections of reflections of reflections. calculable quantum of action, information, projections. what does the projector map onto? a plane maps to a line. single file. time is like a tape drive. one line. at the horizons. everything else is action, causes, effects. bundles of time. what can a 1d line of time map onto, "stereographically?" a single, wildly oscillating point. flipping all that can exist, 1 state of everything, nothing with state 0, coupled weyl spinors. oscillating towards the limit of some fundamental stochastic representation? a singularity is a point. towards infinity it oscillates. beginning to end? inside to outside? and from it all quantum of action are projected into the universe. what's written at the end is reflected in the beginning until the universe is written in information edge to edge. kaboom

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is here, it will instantly disappear and be replaced by something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states that this has already happened.

We also live in strange places: each in a universe of our own. The people with whom we populate our universes are the shadows of whole other universes intersecting with our own.
