it's never been particularly loving and kind but it was kinda fun and i never got the impression anyone was being intentionally hurtful. but yeah, the mood has changed. and things tend to escalate, but, listen. when you hurt your friends, and mean it. that's where you either draw the line or you don't deserve them. The same holds true with family, partners, spouses, anyone you are lucky enough to have know you and want to stay around you. if you can't be good to them then what chance do you have with people YOU want to stay around but don't consider themselves as lucky.

Yes, I have tried having a nice, normal conversation with him many times. He stops responding immediately. I don't think he's had a normal conversation in his life. I don't think he's able to. Online or offline.

Yes, he never seems to see anything resembling a conversation and only seems to see and respond to negativity. Could be a post or a thread; it makes no difference.
