The government procured a new, six-count indictment, which included two new counts that had not been charged in the first indictment.

It’s bullshit

I was listening to Jake Tapper on CNN today at lunch and all the legal experts they had on said it was very flimsy and not likely to hold up

written August 2022

Some friends of mine were talking about current events and the potential for charges, and political theater, value of consequences if any, and there were a lot of good points being made on both sides. I was thinking about eggs Benedict, cause Benedict Arnold, which is English muffin, Canadian bacon, poached eggs, smothered in hollandaise sauce.
Which, of course made me think of the fortification of Dorchester Heights during the siege of Boston in the Revolutionary War.
I thought Benedict Arnold was shot for treason, but, no, he wasn't. He was just a traitor, but could have been memorable for what he DID that was awesome, which was capture Fort Ticonderoga. This was important, because a LOT of effort went into dragging the forts captured cannons by horse drawn sled all the way to Boston in winter. It was like it's own little mini-drama, the B storyline of a movie basically, that took I think a month while the action packed A storyline was George Washington and the guerilla tactics used to win key turning points in the war against the British forces.
Instead of a great war hero with a legendary, just, EPIC climactic battle scene In a movie about what happens when George Washington is obsessed with English breakfast. You get donkey kong.
👁️👃👁️🫦👂And that's where Trump's problem starts. He never learned about video games. Or he'd know not to mess with guerrillas on hills.
I don't think trump deserves to be hung or anything. That would just be, like, psychopathic or something. I'm fine with punishing a former leader though. Otherwise what check actually IS there against the executive for crimes like treason? If President Mumbles tries to stage a coup, not that anyone would understand what the heck he's talking about, but IF he wanted to, if Trump just skips away like a little girl with a lollipop, then maybe Mumbles tries it knowing if he fails he can ride away on his bicycle to just fall off like nobody usually cares.
Personally, I would —love— to see Trump suffer severely enough, like, a lot, LOT, for the comforting catharsis that would bring me, just, like to REVEL in and truly enjoy, but, I get it, I really do... "I don't think he will be again," isn't working to provide a check at all, "barred from ever," and "any public office," would be like, at minimum, the least we can do for him. As long as we're doing him favors. If we're not executing people for treason Benedict Arnold Style anymore (I was wrong, Benedict Arnold Style is having your muffin with poached egg and ham smothered in hollandaise sauce)—which, I won't say isn't among my flippant, "I don't give a rat's patootie," responses to what happens to Trump, then the least we can do is waaaaay different than what they would have done if you consider that George Washington would have decimated troops (as in line up 1 in 10 to firing squad and blast them as disciplinary action.)
👁️_👃👁️👂But
he also won back Boston mostly by using wooden barrels packed with rocks and waited for the British to attack the hill they were defending and just... rolled the barrels down which just left mangled broken bodies and panicked British regulars fleeing and dead and, I mean, it was a lot of barrels, he had them packing barrels for days. And he wrote letters making sure they'd have enough, and even other people were super concerned about barrels, Washington was actually kinda preoccupied with them, almost to the point of a little obsessed with them. And everyone was like, barrels, wtf is with this dude and his boner for barrels, and he was all, like, "DID YOU BRING THE BARRELS WHERE ARE THEY," and just kept getting more and more. Finally when they needed them they had huge pyramids of barrels all stacked up, and when the British arrived by long boats (Boston harbor, so imagine a huge crescent of barrels up on really tall hills) and started to scale the hills to get at the cannons he had overlooking their armada of warships (Yeah, no Bueno to be cannonaded by high vantage, but, waited cause - barrels) and they had like the whole British forces on those dang hills. Slowly climbing.
No shots fired yet. Oh, cause Washington had like zero ammo. So they had NO idea how they could defend the stupid cannons, and Washington was like... can you get me some barrels? And yes, we can do that, sure, but what about the ammo! And he just said, eh, I'd rather you just get barrels...
☝️👁️🫦👃👁️👂it was confusing, but, you get it, don't tell everyone about your plans to use cartoon violence when you don't have any ammo!
So.
Point is. Sometimes it's okay to just talk about how much George Washington loved to watch people get absolutely barrel rolled and crushed into splinters than worry so much about wasting ammo to shoot your enemies.
And the British, yeah, severely traumatized, obliterated, I mean, nightmares about barrels crashing and exploding and rocks flying. It would have been hilarious, for real, like, them running downhill so fast but, BOOM, George Washington donkey kongs you.
And THEN showed his cannons. And the whole British fleet starts making sail, leaving their wounded and fleeing longboat, they lost Boston after holding it for months in just like 3 hours. And Washington didn't even fire a single shot.
Because he was the most awesome guy and had a great sense of humor about asymmetrical battlefield tactics.
Not one shot fired.
Surely, that means we have at least 1 round to spare to shoot Trump with. I have a whole box of .300 aac blackout and I'd part with 1. Kinda $$$ but, 1, I mean, if it's to shoot Trump for treason I guess.
But, they'll probably just tie him up in criminal proceedings until he's just dead. Lawyers can keep stuff going for a looooong time if they just stack enough barrels up on a hill and let loose everytime Trumps team tries to make progress on it. No jail, no punishment, just FOREVER getting crushed under the weight of the Department of Do Not Fuck With Washington. And, that would be basically the kind of catharsis I'd like to see.
🫲👁️‿👃👁️👂🫴Everything he does forever —donkey konged by Washington.
But, you know, shot like a traitor is a cool #2.
#3 dumped in pacific...
I don't really care what happens as long as he loses for the rest of his angry lying days.
Just like how you play donkey kong, losing and feeding it quarters.
And Trump can have a breakfast style dish named after him. Maybe something with buttermilk, or heavily salted pressed ham, under cooked eggs, and sauce with no character?
We could let him choose.
A. Ban from public office, a breakfast dish, and say you lost
-or-
B. keep playing Donkey Kong and win and be #1 ASS
Which do you think he would choose? Now, THAT'S cathartic to think about.

I love
that this analogy
is so incredibly fitting.
trump is the plumber. sucking shit
all day. Stormy Daniels is the cannon at the
top of Dorchester heights used to bait him up the legal
boobytrap. Washington is Donkey Kong, as usual, and the asymmetrical
guerilla warfare is the fact that no matter if trump survives and doesn't get rolled,
the game is a wombo-combo, there's endless stages, and they just get worse and worse and worse.
