Oh, believe me, squeegee brain doesn't need anyone's help to function with limited bandwidth. In fact monospectral imaging is a limitation of the sensor rather than an absence of multispectral band emissions not due to some form of filtering or scattering processes. Probably an emission of many hyperspectral narrow bandwidths resolved by multispectral sensors into broadband specral lines would appear quite broken when viewed by monospectral sensors.
But I think I just made that up. Because I don't remember learning that. I just trust my brain to know what it's doing.
