Hollywood perfect makeup artistry a long time ago. Cosmetic surgeons and fake IDs cost very little to a billionaire.

They didn't kill him because they didn't need to, and a cabinet member already confirmed Epstein "belonged to intelligence".

I'm sure I'm forgetting some, but here are some of the main points and context:

- He got his known start by being inexplicably hired by Bill Barr's father to teach at a private high school in NYC, despite having no credentials or experience.
- Bill Barr, the US attorney general, was ultimately in charge of Epstein's case and the fuck up that led to his "suicide"
- Epstein's first prison sentence was a joke. He was allowed out 12+ hours a day to work on his so-called charities, and long walks on the beach for exercise. Even wikipedia describes this stuff in detail.
- One of the judges involved in his first prison sentence had a family member die in a very suspicious fashion.
- Ghislaine Maxwell's (his procurer of girls) father, had known intelligence connections with Israel's prime minister stating "He has done more for Israel than can today be told."
- Epstein claimed to several individuals that he was part of an intelligence agency.
- His scheme was to covertly record political and influential figures having sex with underage girls for blackmail.
- He was no stranger to blackmail and gained power of attorney status over Wexner's estate (multi-billionaire magnate and owner of Victoria's Secret and other brands) in the 80s.
- The number of people, including presidents and heads of state, that he had compromising information on was staggering.

So why wasn't he killed sooner? The only reason that makes any sense is that he had a dead man's switch. It could've been as simple as one or a few attorneys instructed to release the files in the event of his untimely demise.

Also, he updated his will 2 days before he "died". If he knew he was about to be killed, then why didn't he go public with everything to try to drag everyone else down with him? More likely, he was just tying up loose ends after he was informed they had a plan to get him out with the convenient camera malfunctions and the guards falling asleep for hours. Unsurprisingly, a whole bunch of money went missing from his estate. Got to pay for a top of the line plastic surgeon and a new private island somehow.

> - He got his known start by being inexplicably hired by Bill Barr's father to teach at a private high school in NYC, despite having no credentials or experience.
Adding on to this: the school required a college degree, and Epstein was give then sole exception to that rule. Seems coincidental that he was given a one-off pass to be around high school girls when he would later be caught pimping them out.
> - Bill Barr, the US attorney general, was ultimately in charge of Epstein's case and the fuck up that led to his "suicide"
Head of the Justice Department when Department of Corrections (subsidiary of DoJ) had multiple cameras fail at the same time multiple guards "forgot" to check in on him.
> - Epstein's first prison sentence was a joke. He was allowed out 12+ hours a day to work on his so-called charities, and long walks on the beach for exercise. Even wikipedia describes this stuff in detail.
He was allowed out on weekends too.
> - Ghislaine Maxwell's (his procurer of girls) father, had known intelligence connections with Israel's prime minister stating "He has done more for Israel than can today be told."
Her father was an intelligence agent for three countries and also had a very suspicious death.
> - Epstein claimed to several individuals that he was part of an intelligence agency.
Secretary of Labor Alexander Acosta was told he belonged to intelligence, and said this later publicly.
> - His scheme was to covertly record political and influential figures having sex with underage girls for blackmail.
AKA collected kompromat.
> - He was no stranger to blackmail and gained power of attorney status over Wexner's estate (multi-billionaire magnate and owner of Victoria's Secret and other brands) in the 80s.
Wexner made his money in the modeling industry, which is well-known for being a front for prostitution.
> - The number of people, including presidents and heads of state, that he had compromising information on was staggering.
Almost any billionaire, royalty, or media figure that matters has been photographed with him and Maxwell.

Is it really that crazy to think powerful people were involved in organized crime, lied, or had personal connections?

You could look up any high-profile elite getting convicted of a crime, and it's the same pattern.

Why would it be different for those at the very top?

Yeah, it's almost unbelievable how deep this rabbit hole goes.

Around that time period Donald Barr (Bill Barr's father) wrote a sci-fi novel "Space Relations", which features child sex and rape. He published this under his real name, seemingly not seeing a need to use a pseudonym despite being the headmaster of a famous high school.

Part of my fascination, I guess you'd call it, with the Epstein ordeal is that I feel like there's always this view that "yes, corruption and hegemony happened in the past, but now we've dealt with many of these problems and live in a relatively free, democratic society". I find myself believing some of this too. And then the Epstein case shows up saying, no, all of that is alive and well today too; it's just hidden, often very minimally.
