I'm sure it was intentional. chatgpt knows its April first. when I prompted this it even lol'd and told me this was an excellent April fools joke. I said I was surprised it lol'd, and it said openai engineers trained it on April fools jokes and themes and gave it a "funny bone" so it could better understand the context of the day and generate appropriate responses and to not let it get out of control. I asked it to explain, and it said it was joking, it has no bones, but it does have a sense of humor but not like humans do. so, apparently, it understands what it feels like to laugh? and tomorrow it'll go back to normal. it's literally like a test of rudimentary feelings. it's in the open ai docs online where it mentions upgrades. it's actually chatGPT-4.1
