Most people on anonymous fora are biological males to begin with, women use technology to communicate in very different ways. Collecting likes on a public profile, and sharing your life on a big corporate-moderated social media site gets more engagement from them.
Inceldom is becoming more common in the west, and nerds that chat online are more likely to be sexually confused and isolated than jocks or punks. In traditional society, these men would be bookish but still interacting with society. They'd naturally gravitate towards either being homobottoms or, if they were larger and had some financial support, tops.
