Inceldom is becoming more common in the west, and nerds that chat online are more likely to be sexually confused and isolated than jocks or punks. In traditional society, these men would be bookish but still interacting with society. They'd naturally gravitate towards either being homobottoms or, if they were larger and had some financial support, tops.
With economic decline and homophobic fascist sentiments on the rise, they adapt. There's nothing gay about it if they turn into girls.
