Why are the figures being thrown around so wildly different? In 2021 it was supposedly $56 million for 4 airframes. Elsewhere it's quoted as $32 million per unit. Time estimated $4-5 million (?!) in 2012. Then $14 million in 2015 (agrees with the $56m for 4 figure).
Either I'm being retarded (distinct possibility) or nobody seems to be quite sure.

I choose to believe the $32 million figure though because it's amusing to think it cost about the same as the Su-27 that brought it down. Americans go hard.
