About half an hour ago I talked to the ex-fiancée for the first time in months. We've been texting, but haven't heard for voice for the longest time. We were texting a lot too, and never in my whole lifetime I would think she would tell me what she told me.

She looked so worn down and haggard and depressed, and she wouldn't stop talking about her kid, which was crying for sweets or something, and she'd just ignore the wailing and chaled it off to "He's just grumpy".
And I was thinking "Ha ha, fuck that. I'm never having kids."
I've since discovered that it costs average £200,000 to raise a child in this country. I'd rather have £200,000 to spend on fancy fridges and really big TVs and nice cars and video games.
