I feel like having sexually explicit books as a kid around 12 is probably okay so long as it isn’t a full on porno novel

Less than probably 1% of the books in a school library have sex scenes it’s probably no more than a few pages at most. Only precocious kids are going to read those books anyway so who cares

For one segment of the population having a child read a sex scene is unthinkable. For another, a child (or adult) reading anything with hate speech is unthinkable. It's almost like no one really gives a shit about freedom of speech.
