Funny how that fell out of the news with no follow up stories other than a bogus story that just one of the objects might have been a weather balloon

The fighter planes took footage of these balloons so I’m sure they could just release photos or videos of them

Don’t you think NORAD could visually identify the objects before wasting millions of dollars scrambling jets and blowing up objects with $400k missiles?

I don't understand why they don't already have some kind of means to physically grab the thing by the balloon and ease it down instead of exploding it with a missile

I know like couldn’t they fly two slow propeller planes with a net between them and or just drop a net on top of it with a weight dragging it down to earth
