The main thing I got from that article is that alcohol makes your heart bigger. I've seen "The Grinch", and I know from that that a bigger heart is a good thing.
But that's sort of worrying, seriously. Does this mean that it's common to feel chest pains after drinking? I didn't get a headache, so I assumed I hadn't drunk too much.

I lol'd, but in all seriousness this has never happened to me. Well, not the next day. While being drunk I've felt a little different in the heart, but nothing too painful or worrying. I don't know if that's everyone, but if it continues I'd definitely consult a doctor.

Mild withdrawals can include some crazy muscle spasms that include your heart and send your blood pressure out of whack. I don't know about pains though. Maybe take it easy while you're recovering?

Nah, this isn't spasms, it's a constant tightness which has lasted all day. I'm a lazy ass who sits on the computer all day. I can't take it much easier than that ;)

It's probably the combination of different drinks you had. I suffer from wicked heartburn the day after I drink more than a few liquor drinks. Make sure you stay hydrated and eat some bananas. The potassium will make it all better. Also, when you know your're getting drunk, make sure to give yourself an hour or so of just drinking water before falling out. You'll be fine, my child. I survived alcohol poisoning once. Don't quit fighting the first time someone rings your bell.

I was going to ask you what country you're from so I could make fun of it but then I read this Section 30 of the Road Traffic Act 1988, as amended by the Road Traffic Act 1991:
> 30(1) A person who, when riding a cycle on a road or other public place, is unfit to ride through drink or drugs (that is to say, is under the influence of drink or a drug to such an extent as to be incapable of having proper control of the cycle) is guilty of an offence.
So basically you can be as drunk as you like and ride the bicycle, but if you're too pissed to control it then you get told off and taken home by the popo.
