Chinese state media aired footage of a high-altitude balloon dropping hypersonic weapons back in 2018.The video shows a balloon similar to the ones that have been travelling over the US for the past few years launching a hypersonic missile that can be fitted with a nuclear payload.

1) It's not an interesting way to spend one's time and cripples one's mental and intellectual development. No good arguments or ideas ever come from these slap fights and meme events.
2) These conflicts are becoming less common and less relevant. Countries have become larger than they've ever been, reducing the number of borders to even have conflicts over. And further, wars have become less common than even 100 years ago and less deadly in spite of, or perhaps because of the increasingly lethalness of our weaponry.
