You aren't declared "innocent" in a court of law; you're declared "not guilty." And the evidence against her did not, in fact, imply that she was the one to kill her daughter (regardless of whether or not you think she got off too easy for everything else). What happened to the West Memphis Three may have been unjust, but it doesn't invalidate every court decision made after it.

it demonstrates how fucked the court system is. they still made them plead guilty. Its insane. Technically, they were convicted of murder. they'll get pardons down the line, im sure. still, its disgusting.
