Yup, I've been listening to talk radio since I was about 14. I literally don't have many choices when I'm not at a computer, so I listen to whatever stations I can pick up, I don't dig sports so political talk it is. He is pure entertainment value, I disagree with a lot of what he has to say, but the guy is damn smart, funny and entertaining as hell. He's a talk show master, he doesn't always talk about politics, in fact a lot of his show isn't political, I enjoy those parts the most. :')

Because he's an idiot. He isn't an idiot because he's a conservative - I know plenty of intelligent fiscal conservatives (being socially conservative is another matter entirely) - he's an idiot because he's an idiot. He tends to spawn a lot of conservative versus liberal arguments, but I've never seen why. Even on the issues I agree with him on, I don't think I've ever seen him make a decent, coherent point that stands up to fire.

Inflammatory comments, moral outrage, and opinionated rants are tools of the trade for him, and I think he has figured out that people don't tune in to listen to someone reasonable explore all sides of an issue at length. He's not trying to be a pundit; he's trying to be a personality. It's sad, but that's how talk radio goes.
