Switzerland: one of the lowest homicide rates in the world while having one of the highest rates of firearm ownership.

Yep, completely unrelated to guns!

Gee, why could that be? Let's see. In Switzerland, you are legally mandated to keep guns locked up at all times, unloaded, and separate from the ammunition. Authorities regularly verify this. What could possibly be the difference?

Are the guns used in mass shootings stolen from homes or found lying around, fully loaded, on the streets? If not, how, precisely, does this relate to the issue at hand?

Many are stolen from homes, but Americans can pretty much carry them anywhere loaded in most states. Swiss cannot.

Very few guns used in mass shootings are stolen. Open carry is also rare even in states with the most liberal gun laws.

Americans can easily access guns and carry them anywhere. Switzerland is hardly a fair comparison.

Open carry is also rare even in states with the most liberal gun laws.
Mass shootings also commonly happen in states where open carry is already illegal.
Swiss citizens have easy access to guns. It's substantially harder to get a gun in California, New York, or Massachusetts than in Switzerland.

So Americans are just horribly violent people? Got it.

In a sense, it seems that way doesn't it? Although mass shooters have and always will be statistical anomalies.

Americans want to live in a police state because Americans are terrified that their neighbor might start a pig farm next to their house, but who owns your neighbor's home?

Do you really think that freedom doesn't benefit you?

Do you think that you are exempt from tyranny?

Do you realize that freedom is a two-way street?

If you want your neighbor to go to jail for having a flag-pole, don't be surprised when you are arrested for owning a driveway.

Can't you solve problems without a law?

Can't you talk to those who bother you?

Couldn't you just move away?

Do Americans realize that the US used to be a free country?

Do Americans know that the Soviet Union failed?
