But there are many cases like this. Children getting surgery that permanently changes their body, getting prescriptions for puberty blockers, being sterilized before they are considered considered competent enough to drive a car.
Why are the Democrats dying on this hill? It's inevitable that people will see the growing number of child mutilations and push back hard.

Male circumcision doesn't sterilize boys, and doesn't change how you look to the public.
I am against it, but it's not comparable to medical gender transitioning in the harm it causes.

circumcision stems from religion, most jewish beliefs. Religion is hardwired into society and cannot be removed easily. Removing the parts of the body needed to reproduce can not be justified as easily and will likely be overturned in time.
