Why are Republicans so evil?

Evil is when you use American taxdollars to help Americans, rather than foreigners, got it.

Democrats said: "We don't have five billion dollars to build a wall along the Mexico border to protect America".

Sends 100 billion to Ukraine to help protect their borders.

The party of "Raise the wage!" is always trying to import cheap labor so that they can keep wages as low as possible.

The Demonrats know exactly how to destroy the little leverage the working class has and have been openly saying "no one will work these terrible jobs unless we bring in foreigners" for years. The alternative is actually paying people more to attract them to these jobs, but the bourgeois liberals don't want to pay their agricultural and service workers a penny more.

The wall was purely symbolic. It would have done absolutely nothing to "protect our borders." It was all about putting up an image of keeping the dirty brown people out of our beautiful pure white christian nation.

Funding Ukraine on the other hand is actually protecting innocent people, in a country that is friendly with the west, from a country that is extremely unfriendly with the west. A country that goes so far as to interfere in our elections. Rolling over and allowing Russia to take Ukraine is just giving them permission to do whatever they want consequence free. Today it's Ukraine, maybe tomorrow it will be us?

They are not comparable.

You'll just end up with a high wage the same way the regular people of Zimbabwe could earn $100 trillion in a day.

The buying power of that wage will be low because of competition in the labor market, and high demand for limited resources.

Democrats are the party of open borders because it’s an appeal to the Hispanic wing of the party

Politicians attempt to appeal to voters. Hispanic voters (not speaking for all) want their Tia and Tio to move to the USA and have more stores with signs in Spanish

Nothing to do with indentured slaves to mow the lawns in the Hamptons; that shit is just fantasy

All this shit ever has to do with is getting more votes it’s just Democrats chose to go after hispanic votes and Republicans didn’t

even i dont get whats so great about immigration as a leftist

like theres enuf ppl here already, why do we need more

if its cheap labor make em guest workers so they can go back later.

if its refugees theres a moral argument to help them but we could get mexico to also do that
