Nothing really. I'm just lucky enough to have an atheros chipset in my 11.6 notebook and it's fun to open up WEP networks and find internet everywhere I go. It's not stealing if I'm only borrowing it for a bit, right? LOL.
Anyhow. To be honest, I love the dark grey and red color scheme and the fact that it's built on unbuntu 10.04 LTS. 11.04 is damn buggy in my experience.

My dad had to make his own distro for his company. I was pretty impressed. He said it was a lot easier than he thought it would be. He just said that it can be a long process, but it's not too difficult.

Acer Aspire 1410. Gotta check if you buy one though. There is a Euro and a US model. Not sure which is which, but only one has the atheros chipset you want for this sort of thing.

the aircrack-ng suite can do it all. you can install it on regular ubuntu, but with newer kernels you'll need to patch the wireless drivers. It's a serious pain in the balls, which is another reason back|track is awesome for this sort of thing.

Nice. I love my ASUS eeePC 1005HAB modified. I may add another antenna for my wireless card. Do you guys think it would do anything? It's like $7 or so, so I wouldn't mind paying $7 for a little better connectivity. I've opened up eeePC so much. I love how easy it is.
