Let's pray IF they ever make a new Avatar TLAB movie, they will hire someone to do a faithful adaptation.

@1,215,012 (B)Nickelodeon gave both the creators of the original series (and The Legend of Korra) their own studio.
They are already producing an animated movie for theaters with the original cast as young adults. The movie is set to come out in 2025.
They also announced another animated series following the Avatar after Korra (who is also the Avatar after Aang). Series is also set to come out in 2025.
There is also the live action Avatar series set to be released on Netflix, but the creators backed out of that project.
This world isn't just getting another film, it's practically getting it's own cinematic universe.
