Topic: Another night storm.

Super low clouds, major heat and humidity, cold front blowing in from the north. I need a fucking basement lol, sorta lol, but not really. This fucking sucks. :-/I've been watching storms all my life and chasing them for over a decade, this has all the elements needed, the perfect storm.

I have lived most of my life in So California. Traveled and worked world wide yet always home base in So Cal and Yes Earthquakes happen.
I do wonder why people put up with Cold and lots of snow and high humidity. I pay lots of money to go to the snow to ski. Then return to the one season So Cal gets.
As long as I have access to T3 or E3 Lines from Telco or similar sources I can do my work anywhere in the world - So I end up dealing with the occasional Earthquake lol

It's been storming every other day here, in between hot days. And rain/hail storms are almost never this common. I love it.

I enjoy storms in the daytime, thing is there has not been a single day storm this year, rain yes, but no storms. All the ferocious storms have come at night, and living in tornado alley... its unsettling.

lolno, but the storm is almost blown over. There were some gusts around 70-80 mph, but no tornado thankfully, all the elements were there for it though.

Just south of Kansas City, technically I live in Paola Kansas, but I live closer to 2 other cities, I live in a trifecta of intersecting city lines nowhere near a city. To make it more complicated, there are two pieces to my road, neither are very long, but they are separated by many miles and a lake. No one can ever find my house, its ridiculous, but I love it out here.

There's no reason you can't, especially if you have cash and a decent credit history. I got a steal on this place, but I know real estate and the guy selling it for the bank was an acquaintance, the first offer I made was ridiculously low, but I knew the position the bank was in, what they had invested etc, they accepted my third offer. This is my third house lol, ex has one, one is empty and I'm looking for a decent renter, bleeding money on that one right now, but that's the game. If you ever look to buy, I know my shit, used to do appraisals etc. My dream is to flip houses and rent them, or sell them outright depending on the situation, I haven't made it there yet, but I hope to someday.

You a city boy now? The houses are creeping up around me, developments a few miles away etc. I'll have to move within the decade, I'm sure of it. Doesn't help being so close to the lake, hate that fucking lake it used to be awesome, but now its a hotspot and crowded all the time, back in the day you could go out there and literally have parts of it to yourself.

That said - Back when I spent a full 6 months in Siberia and mostly in Khabarovsk the guys from USA I was working with said while we were on a road out in the country side - Looks like home in Kansas -
