In a world full of cancer, gross incompetence, literal criminals and thieves in charge of every aspect of the Internet, and almost nothing but lying fucktards and cowardly sheep using it, nothing as beautiful as Canv.as can survive. It's like trying to grow a flower in nuclear waste; it's not just an uphill battle but a perfectly vertical artificial wall that simply cannot be climbed.
Canv.as never stood a chance in the first place and I now wouldn't bring it back even if I could, which I genuinely tried to, as promised. Alas, virtually nobody is interested in changing the world for the better, and if you are out there, you're hiding very well.

$625,000 in venture money for Canvas and servers are up and running and they were at DEFCON and I intended to ask how it was going but was too busy with my own business stuff.
I doubt Beta has moved all that much but one investor has a super super track record in such start up ventures.

Of course and when I got that invite to try it I had to make up a phony Facebook page to register and then got email from Moot with a direct way in. I have not tired it since maybe 3 weeks after it was launched. I have a fast way to see if it has traffic and if you want I will do the dance it takes to get a traffic report on the closed to public site. I am sure I could find my password but truly r not very into what they were trying to do.
I still cannot figure out how Moot keeps 4Chan going re the number of servers and BW cost. Then again its not uncommon as say ED to throw in the towel all of a sudden when the bills stack up and "Angels" start holding back on cash flow. These may not be the best tyme for ventures ALL of a Sudden

What is up with the Topic/Question re http://canv.as/Not only is it up and running it really surprised me re activity for such a new venture. And there is a major event this weekend being put on by them and one hell of a joint sponsor.
There are multiple ways to look at Site activity including the simple Google page view ranking
Let me show you just one with 4Chan as a reference then canv.as and normally I could do it on one graph but the variation is too wide and putting in MC takes it off the map so I will do one at a tyme although you can see a bit of can.as below the 4Chan chart

How is 4chon.net? I've not spent any amount of time there. Also if I were STI, I'd be hesitant to add porn boards too, given that there's still a link between him and anontalk stragglers.

Good point In 2005, News Corp. bought the site for $580 million from its original owners and sold it for a reported $35 Million YET if one waits for the 10K report from New Corp I bet one cannot find the $35 Million in cash lol
