Lodsys is a predatory patent troll company that sued/is suing Angry Birds and other smaller indie iOS developers for using in-app purchases (supposedly claimed by some vague patent of theirs).

Lodsys probably put that directory assistance number in there on purpose to keep all the angry people from calling and cussing them out or complaining against them (as everyone knows they are a predatory patent troll that picks on indies for their own ill gotten greed). Even a domain privacy service might refuse to deal with all the angry calls they would get. If a real phone number to lodsys was actually put in there, think the lulz that might happen.
