We have had crazier people here than Bert, but I think he is probably the most spiteful, cruelest poster on Minichan. And he isn't even mentally ill or on drugs or anything, this is just who he is as a person. I was talking about something similar with someone, recently, about how it can be difficult if not impossible to separate issues like mental illness and substance abuse from someone's actual personality traits. But in this case, I do think this is just who he is now. He's a jerk nearly 24/7, it's constant.

Nah I agree. The military breaks people down to reform them to function In any circumstance or that's the goal I think. So I could also understand drug use not really making someone go over the deep end compared to what military life can do to and for the mind. I probably couldn't name many vets I know who don't have some substance abuse history
