It's something about the fact that it's mainly about luck and a bit of skill instead of how much you've done grinding to get specific whatever's. As long as the only thing you pay for is skins for stuff I can ignore the downside of micro transactions in these type of games. And I feel like fps might have some positive effect on hand eye coordination?

The new season is neat so far, I mean I only played one match and the new guns were satisfying. The battle pass seemed cheap? 950 vbucks? Maybe it just felt cheap since I've saved up a bunch of vbucks over the last 6 months or so

It seems so, I think the other seasons were 1200? I usually just scope out the vbucks rewards on the free part of the battle pass when I don't actively participate in the full one

I think it was more on the lines of the update being streamlined so there wasn't a day of downtime? Like usually there's a day or so where the island is changing. But this one seemed pretty immediate. There wasn't an event associated with one, but I'm sure they'll have others.

MxO, I hadn't heard of it but it looks like it came out right before I graduated. i probably would have loved it at the time!
