Once I was sitting in the dining room and feeding a woman who was around 90
The dining had a bunch of residents and workers, who were black
I asked the woman what she did for fun as a child and she said the would burn grass growing on her property. I then asked if she had any pets. She responded yes, we had a horse
I asked her his name and she said Nigger. We called him Nigger because he was black
I wanted to die but no one acted like it was noteworthy

I'd put my parents in a home like that, the more racial animosity they've built up over the years the sooner I get my inheritance. Those white-staffed establishments will keep them alive and draining their finances for a decade if you let them.

Another time I was doing a double shift and I was getting people up in the morning. It was around 5:00 AM
The lady I was helping was black and in her late 70s. She was unusually observant and noticed everything that went on around her
She was watching the morning news report about a double homicide and said to me, Aint that the nigga who work in the kitchen?
It was. He had killed two hotel employees on camera in order to steal $800 was currently on the run. It felt nice that she was the one who broke the news to everybody

One timeI had a coworker from Barbados who's side hustle was voodoo. People would come to her for spells about making more money, or health problems or cheating husband's
Her own husband was cheating but she didn't handle it with voodoo. He was with his side chick in his van. They had parked at this area by the river where a lot of gay guys go to cruise. They had gone there to fuck, but someone shot them both at point blank range and they died
The police were pretty sure it was one of her older sons who did it but they couldn't prove anything

Sure, but I think you've shared a few of these stories before. You talk a lot more about the past than you do about the present or future. I'd guess that's just a reflection of living a more shut-in lifestyle? Which is fine, I don't judge, but it's weird that you levy that type of thing as an insult?
I was asking about if you have more recent examples of your social interactions because - and I don't think I'm alone in saying this - the present is more interesting. It's changeable, fresh, and current.
Honestly? You remind me a little of becky. And that's a good thing. Educated, cultured, sophisticated. Oh, and she has some pretty remarkable stories from past years. Fucking crazy what some will do to get good LSAT scores, but let's not get distracted as I'm sure she's told you all the same. But that's where the similarities end. Becky still has crazy stories from today that are unfolding right now as we speak. That's why she's so fun to talk to. She isn't like talking to your 90 year old World war whatever vet that can't stop repeating the same stories about Hitler this, Adolf that (not that you're like that, Kook, but you get the jib of the jab).
Anyway, it'd be nice to hear some newer stories from the past 1-2 years, not the past 10-20. It's more interesting and honestly(?) it's better all around. Getting stuck in the past isn't good for the mind or the body.

I'm telling stories about the facility because that's what I enjoy doing
Also if you could talk to someone that had crazy stories about knowing Hitler but couldn't enjoy them because they're old, that's a reflection of your own immaturity
> I'm telling stories about the facility because that's what I enjoy doing
And that's fine too. I wouldn't want to take that away from you. I'm not even suggesting you stop sharing these stories, hell, I encourage you to post them all again in a few months, just as you're already doing! Rather, what I am suggesting is you start posting more about the present and living more in the present.
> Also if you could talk to someone that had crazy stories about knowing Hitler but couldn't enjoy them because they're old, that's a reflection of your own immaturity
I feel like you're intentionally or unintentionally missing the point?

I wouldn't say that I'm bothered by your posts. For the most part, I'm delighted by them. I wouldn't have suggested you post more relevant and engaging stories if I felt otherwise. I literally would've suggested the opposite if I found you bothersome.

As an outsider, this sums up life in USAmerica to me.

Have you seen or read Doctor Sleep by Stephen King? It's a sequel to The Shining. Dan Torrance (the little boy in The Shining) now works in a retirement home and uses his 'shine' to comfort old folk as they die.
