Topic: I'm browsing for a cult to join.

Externally hosted imageMy dad was a synanon member back in the 80s, but they are gone now.

Looking through "intentional community" listing online there are many promising leads, but information about the lifestyles is sparse.

What's a promising cult for a 40s male in California? I have some savings, but not enough to make Scientology worth it.

Church of Christ.

I also used to be involved with them. Big mistake. It still messes with me psychologically to this day.

The Catholics are a cult. But I won't join them.

Catholicism is the cultural base of western civilization, thanks.

Western culture is not a cult.

Pretty sure America was founded on the idea of religious freedom, not catholicism. Thanks.

Child molestation, and paying hush hush money to their victims, is a cult.

You seem to be an uptight member of the Catholic Cult, is there something you'd like to share with us Priest?
