how do you know if they'll count your vote?

Because I generally trust institutions like that. I also trust that, if there were some huge conspiracy, there would be actual evidence for it somewhere.

From what I hear there is a lot of evidence, but then people just reference the daily wire or Mike lindel, or say they do 14 hours of reaearch

Then where is the evidence? Tons of courts asked that and received nothing in response. Where is the evidence?

I read it on Facebook and Tucker Carlson told me about it, so it must be true. If you disagree, then you just haven't watched as many YouTube videos as I have.

It's apparently there if you look. But I've looked every time someone mentions something and I never really find anything besides an article that doesn't expand on anything

You don't understand, I just feel it. So it must be true. Fuck your feelings though.

Why would I be mad about the downfall of American democracy?

"It's apparently there" is not evidence, but hearsay. That's the problem. There is no evidence, but Trump keeps repeating that there is, and his sheep believe him.

We have the technology to provably count votes... so why insist that the people rely on trust? I should be able to check that my ballot was counted, and that my vote was recorded correctly. They already offer a public voter record showing WHO voted... give me a password and the ability to check that my vote was recorded CORRECTLY. God damn.

until this happens, I will remain convinced that it's all just a clown show :)

Even with using a block chain or something similar, it still remains meaningless unless we fix legalized bribing.

How will you get there when everyone that could have cared is already checked out? They don't even care about the people enough to prove that our votes (in a terrible, broken system) are counted.

Either people need to become poor and hungry enough to start a revolution or technological innovation needs to happen rapidly enough to cause social disruption either leading to political upheavals or by simply rendering old political structures irrelevant. I'm betting on technology although not within my lifetime.
