I've just discovered a valuable piece of knowledge: if your site looks good on Firefox for Linux, it looks good everywhere.

Wish I knew this 2 years ago. Not sure if it was as true then as it is now. But still, It could've saved me a lot of aggravation.

Obviously designing for Firefox is the way to go. In my experience, Firefox is the only browser which actually displays sites the same way on all platforms.

Better to design for Chromium if you ask me.

I thought they were gonna fix this shit anyhow. Isn't that why they cooked up the new "standards" in the first place? Aren't all browsers supposed to support the HTML5 standard eventually?

Still amazes me how many tymes a day I open up a webpage (mostly corporations) and page is not really Firefox compatible - Often its ok nuff 2 use as is and just as often I have to open up IE to read it. Chrome has the same problems. All pages are ALWAYS IE ok and I only use IE for two reasons - Compatibility and to download things from MS where u have no other choice.
