Hey. I have social anxiety. And I spend most of my time all alone. I have a lot of time for thinking over things. And currently I dwell on this one time when my friend called me an idiot to sum it up (in a serious manner) when we were playing a board game. I want to forgive this, but it was so uncalled for and I wish I said something then. Now I want to stop thinking about it but I can't let it go. I was wondering how you do it? How do you forgive people? Maybe someone could help me move on.

Also remember that when people are unkind to you, it is always because something is broken in them, not in you. I had to learn that working in customer service.

Most things I move past in a handful.of minutes. If something else sticks for longer, I'll try to pinpoint it and then if possible interact with the person and try to work it out. There's only a few people that I will refuse to talk to again.
